I just talked to a friend of mine that lives in Ohio.His name is Ryan Osborn I haven't heard from him in 5 or 6 weeks.
He told me just a while ago that the hospital he was in released him and told him to go home.
He has had 3 operations in the last month trying to gain control of the infections. They told him that there is nothing they can do for the pain. He had a knee operation 5 or 6 weeks ago and became infected with Mersa staff infection. He is need of prayers for healing from the infection and pain. He is not a member of the church but he would be very greatful for being placed on our prayer list.

Genevieve is in hospice, aged in her mid ninetys. I do not have the exact facts of her condition, but she is weakening and is not expected to leave hospice. Please pray that God will touch this family and set his spirit of strength and peace upon them During this time.

I have another brethren, this time from the High Point, N.C. congregation, who lives in Greensboro, N.C., requesting prayer and to be put on the National Prayer List. Her name is Mrs. Lettie Hayes. Mrs. Lettie Hayes is in Moses Cone Hospital there in Greensboro, N.C. in room 3302 for open heart surgery to repair a hole in her heart. The doctor feels that Mrs. Lettie Hayes is just simply to weak to undergo heart surgery. He feels that she would not last through the surgery. So, Mrs. Hayes is requesting prayer for her healing.

I would like to ask if you would pray for an old church friend of mine, Murray Poloushin. We met in 1978 when I was still attending the the World Wide,(to my knowledge he is keeping all GOD'S commandments and Holy Days) his health is slipping his general health is poor and he now also passes out from time to time for no known reason. He isn't able to make an appointment to see a doctor to get an idea of the problem, because he has no insurance or cash.

We have a seventeen month old granddaughter that has erratic behavior at times. What we mean by this, she changes into another person; it's like she's possessed. Tonight, she was crying, drooling at the mouth, and throwing herself around on the floor. When her Mother tried to console her, she begin to claw at her face. Her Mother had to spank her pretty hard and it was like it never affected her at all. Sometimes, she goes into a quiet moment, rolls her eyes back into her head and only the white shows. She constantly tries to fight her Mother as if she's trying to hurt her. Is it possible our granddaughter could be demon possessed? We haven't had an evaluation done on her yet; we do intend to. In the meantime, we want to have her prayed for and anointed with a prayer cloth. Please help us!!!!

Dear Brethren,
Bill Cowan is in Parkridge Medical Center . Bill has been having chest pains off and on since the Feast last year. They have intensified over the last few weeks. He had a stress test on Wednesday that indicated a problem. He was scheduled to have a catheter inserted today to check out his heart. The doctor indicated that all diabetes have cardio vascular diseases. Many diabetes do not feel pain associated with heart attacks. The doctor indicated that the fact that Bill did feel pain worked in his favor. The pains became very intense last night (Thursday) and Betty took him into the hospital. Every artery in the heart and leads to the arteries are blocked. The physician indicated that he had a heart attach and has probably had several over a period of time. The doctors plan to do surgery tomorrow on the Sabbath – the first opening for the surgeon. The surgeon indicated from what they could tell Bill’s heart had not been damaged. Betty can briefly visit Bill three times today, but no one else can see him. Norma is already on her way home and will be there to assist in whatever way possible. Please pray fervently for Bill and the surgery tomorrow. Please remember Betty and Rod also in your prayers.

This is the prayer request my Dad, Richard Messer has for his Sister. Her name is Lou and she is scheduled to have her leg amputated at St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington Kentucky on Monday. I was told that my brother Theodore Johnson experienced a heart attack today (March 22, 2010) and went to the Chapel Hill, N. C. Hospital. I have not been able to contact Theodore or his family. The hospital says that they do not show that Theodore has been admitted as a patient there. Anyway, Theodore needs prayer for his healing and needs to be added to the National Prayer List...please. Pleae pray for his well being and healing.

Just a short line to say our silly son returned to Afghanistan last week for another 6-month mission. He trained with the Americans for 2 months in Ca. He has a dangerous job including detonating explosives & land mines. I guess he enjoys a challenge; he should join God's Church. Ha!

I have a prayer request for my friend and co worker Jacque Fox and her unborn baby Ella. She is six months pregnant and up until yesterday (4/28/10) she and her husband Jerad thought they were having a healthy baby girl. Information they should have had when she was 18 weeks was somehow overlooked, misinterpreted or human error played a role in misinforming these parents on the well being of their baby. According to the technician who did the initial sonogram (on 4/27/10 if memory serves correct) stated her baby was completely healthy; no cleft lip, two kidneys, good heart, etc, except for low amniotic fluid. Jacque was told she needed a more in depth sonogram to ensure all was well with the low fluid so another scheduled sonogram was made for the following day at a different hospital given by another technician. Immediately the technician picked up on several defects she found during her sonogram and was i guess you could say disgusted by the obvious mistakes made by Jacque's doctors/Staff. Her Dr admitted with his head held low that they should have known this information when she was 18 weeks and said there is no reason or explanation he can give as to why this went undetected. With that said here are the issues with Ella: Cleft lip, heart defect-2 chambers have no valves, one kidney, small limbs (i think her arms), smaller stomach, defect in one of the chambers in the umbilical cord which i do believe is the one with the blood supply. They say Ella could have a chromosome 18 defect which means trisomy 18 Edwards Syndrome. She is, as i am typing this, having a test done today to determine if it's Chromosome 18 or just a defect that resulted in this. We are praying it is not chromosome 18 because that could result in more defects perhaps death while in the womb or death shortly after birth. This is her first baby and she is scared, distraught and said this is the worst day of her life and she has no idea how she is going to get through this. She is not a member of ICG nor am I. I've known this website and GTA for many years due to my father and grandfather. I believe in God and all that is said on these websites that is why i am requesting a prayer from this church. I'm not sure what Jacque believes or if she was ever taught anything to believe she never stated and i never asked. I do not know her address so I cannot give it to you but I hope you could post this so she and Ella can receive prayers for their well being and a miracle for Baby Ella.

A softball sized tumor/mass has been discovered attached to my left ovary with a possibility that it is attached to other organs and tissue as well, however until they operate there is no way of knowing for sure. I'm scheduled for surgery the last week of June. Please pray that our Father guides the surgeons hands, it is a simple procedure, they get it all, it is benign, for healing and a speedy recovery. Thank you everyone for your prayers and support. We all know that doctors treat but God is our Healer. Judi's surgery went well. They wheeled her in @ 07:30 and the doctors spoke to me @ 09:45. The doctor said there was not much bleeding, which is good. They called the tumor "borderline" which is to say, not malignant but close. They will run the tests on the tissue but the doc was very optimistic that there would be no need for chemo. Judi should be released on Tuesday, the 29th.She is still groggy but relieved that it is over. She is thankful for all of you. Thank you again for your prayers(the only answer) and I will keep you updated.

I would like to request prayer for my sister, Robyn Bender, to be put on the national prayer list, and to also be put on our own church prayer list. She called me right before our church services today. She went to the surgeon to see about surgery to remove her blockage that I told you about a few weeks back. He told her that if he performs the surgery it is his opinion that she will not survive it. She is diabetic, her heart is so diseased from the diabetes that there is nothing they can do to strengthen it, and her vascular system has been so attacked by the diabetes that her circulation is not good. The doctor that told her this is the same doctor (the gastroenterologist) that could not find the blockage. It was her regular medical doctor who found it. She is going to another doctor for a second opinion. I knew in my heart of hearts that this kind of surgery would be dangerous for her. She is in a bad situation. She can't go on without an operation, because there is extreme danger that the bowel will perforate and poisonous toxins could kill her, and she is in serious danger of not surviving the surgery. Please ask our prayer warriors to pray for Robyn, and to please keep her on both prayer lists for ongoing prayer.
God bless everyone who intercedes for Robyn. I so much appreciate it.

We've just heard that our dear friend Richard Anderson of Savannah, GA is in a hospital in Roanoke, VA following a minor motorcycle spill. Although he was in good spirits and recovering from a shoulder injury and broken ribs, things went bad while in the hospital. They removed his spleen on Monday,and are very concerned because he has not regained consciousness. His wife Nancy and two close friends are there with him, and no one seems sure why Richard isn't waking up. You can imagine how concerned Nancy is. Everybody who knows Richard knows that he's a terrific guy, and right now he needs all our prayers. We'll let you know when we hear something.

Theodore has taken a setback, after doing so well.
Theodore is again back in the hospital for surgery on his right leg stump. His stump show signs of some parts of the seams not healing as it should.
Theodore's kidneys again is acting up, not eliminating fluid as they should.
Theodore is in the Veterans Hospital there at Dukes in Durham, N.C. in Room 2650

I spoke to Mary this afternoon (Kosovo time) and she has bad news regarding my step-son, John Cabrera. John, as you may remember, was in the Marine Corps and became disabled due to a severe back injury at Camp Lejeune, NC.
He was taken to Munro Regional Hospital in Ocala, Florida last night. He as a large tumor in his groin area that must be surgically removed. I don't know exactly when the operation is going to happen but I suspect Monday morning your time.
I would certainly appreciate John being placed on the Prayer List. Although he is not in God's church, he is a good man and I have hopes that God will call him. So, my Prayer Request for him is two fold: 1) That the Eternal heal him from this emergency and 2) CALL him to the Truth that we all know and appreciate.

John had his surgery yesterday afternoon. Mary called me at 8PM your time and let me know that John had come out of the surgery okay, and there were no immediate complications or other problems. I don't know much about the tumor yet, but will find out more later today. The Bottom Line Up Front, or BLUF is that the prayers everyone offered for John were obviously heard! I am grateful to all who helped in this critical surgery. God heard our prayers! Thanks for your help in efforts to seek our Brethren's assistance on John's behalf. One answered! Now for prayer Two, one that many of us hope and pray for, that being that our sons and daughters are called to the Truth by the Eternal!

Tyler and Zachery are the sons of Penny and Stan Martin of Chattanooga, TN. Tyler is 17 and Zachery is 14 (also friends of Melanie's). The boys were involved in a very serious accident on Friday afternoon. Another passenger in their vehicle was killed. Please see below for the update. Urgent prayers are requested.

I wanted to give everyone an update on Tyler and Zachery Sterban as of this morning (Sunday).
Tyler is now off a respirator and breathing fine on his own. He has numerous injuries...the most serious being a broken pelvis and femur bone, plus his uthera detached from his bladder. All of these were addressed in the surgery yesteray and he appears to be beginning the road to recovery. He is going to be in the hospital quite a while longer and then in rehab. I do not know a time frame but I would think it would be months for him to fully recover. He is awake and aware of things.
Zachery is a larger concern at the moment. He has at least some brain damage. This does not mean it is long term damage....we just do not know. The doctors are attempting to get the swelling and potential bleedlng down where they can work to restore things working him back to health. We were told last night that it will be 36 to 48 more hours before they try to take him off the respirator assuming he does not have any setbacks. Obviously this is very serious so we would appreciate the continued prayers. He also has a fractured jaw but at this point that is not the largest concern.
Both boys are in intensive care so cannot have visitors but the continued prayers are appreciated.

Hello all. We do not want to overwhelm everyone with updates unless we have any new information. So I will try to now only send messages when there is a status change.
I did talk to the head of Pediatric Neurology this evening and he said they will keep Zach in an induced coma for a couple more days to try to help the swelling heal and decrease. He said probably Friday or Saturday they will try to wean him off of this and see how he responds. As he told us this is a long term situation and will (in his opinion) take weeks before Zach should come out of the coma. Of course, God is able to do anything, but I am just reporting what the doctor said. He also told us that on the cat scan, Zach may or may not have had a small stroke in the back of his brain. According to Dr. Pearce, there is no way to know how Zach's functions will be until he is fully awake again. This is of course both positive news (that he is alive and expected to awake from the severe brain injury) and a testing of our faith that Zach can be fully healthy and fully in control of his brain functions once he does awake.
We, of course, ask that Zach will be healed and also that he will be healed mentally fully and able to be back to his full health before the injury.
Rather than send everyone an email twice, or even once a day, I will just update as things progress.
As for Tyler, he is doing fine and will be released from the hospital as soon as the end of the week, although it may not be quite that soon. We also would appreciate prayers that Tyler will understand the gravity of the pain and suffering this tragedy has caused so many people. The third occupant of the car will be buried on Thursday and his mother is grieving because of the loss of her son. The driver that innocently hit the car the boys were riding in will be living with the knowledge of the injuries and death although she was in no way responsible for the wreck.
In case you do not know, none of the boys were wearing a seat belt although I am sure all of the boys have been told much of their life the importance of wearing a seat belt. One boy is dead, another is clinging to life, and the other has serious rehabilitation to return to his former health, plus the knowledge that he was the driver of the car.
